Easy and Fast Software Patch:

  •  Step 1:  Close PowerQuotePLUS and all other programs.

  •  Step 2:  OPEN this file and click the UNZIP button.

  •  Step 3: 

Restart your computer, and you're ALMOST done:

Open the program, click OPTIONS | PATH FOR ADOBE READER, then drill down to this folder (or whereever you are running Adobe Reader):

Now you're done....

 

Complete Re-Install:

Here are the five steps to getting your old version upgraded to the latest version:

1) Save your current data and pictures.  You'll want to keep your old quotes and aircraft, etc. They are located in your C:\Program Files\PowerQuotePLUS folder. Copy/Paste them to a temporary folder you may create such as C:\My Documents\My Temporary Files. Use Windows Explorer (Right-click on START, then select Explore) or My Computer to move them.

  • Company.KEY (the file that "unlocks" the demo and inserts your name into the program).

  • PwrQuote.MDB (your quotes, itineraries, invoices, customers, aircraft, etc).

  • WebSched.MDB (if you are also using WebSched).

  • Defaults.MDB (your default settings).

  • [YourCompanyLogo].BMP (i.e. "AirExec.BMP").

  • [YourAircraftPictures].BMP (i.e. "AirExLear.BMP" "AirExCessna.BMP").

  • Itin.txt (Boilerplate General Itinerary text file).

  • ItinCrew.txt (Boilerplate Crewmember Itinerary text file).

  • TandC.txt (Terms and Conditions text attachment for quotes).

2) Uninstall PowerQuotePLUS.

START | SETTINGS | CONTROL PANEL | ADD\REMOVE PROGRAMS

Select PowerQuotePLUS and click ADD/REMOVE.

3) Remove the old PowerQuotePLUS folder.

Since the folder also contains files that the Windows Registry doesn't know about (i.e. "SuperAir.BMP"), you'll have to manually delete the folder.  RIGHT-Click on START, then select EXPLORE.  Browse on the left panel to C:\Program Files\PowerQuotePLUS and delete the PowerQuotePLUS folder.

4) Download and install the New Version

 by clicking here to download the demo (it will be unlocked when you do the next step).

5) Copy-back the files you saved temporarily in 1) above to: C:\Program Files\PowerQuotePLUS, replacing any existing files, using Windows Explorer.
